fishing bushkill falls, PA?
is there any Trout Fishing in SE PA that can tell me how i can fish bushkill falls? I dont know where to go and do i have to pay or register? I looked on the PAGC site and its not public land but private but open, so i assume i need to pay to fish. please help
The fly fishing only area is Ressica Falls on Bushkill creek, located on route 402. Coming from SE PA you would need to pick up 402 off US 209 in Marshall’s Creek, Follow 402 North for about 5-6 miles until you cross the bridge over the Bushkill, you will see a sign that says Ressica Falls Boyscout Reservation – turn right immediately after you
cross the bridge.
You may not fish next to the falls.
As you pull in, pass the building and follow the road up the hill to the parking lot on your right. There is a path down to the the creek.
Follow the creek downstream for about 1/2 a mile – you’ll come to piano pool – you can’t miss it – it will be the first large pool you encounter.
Try wooly boogers and nymphs this time of year.
You do not need to pay to fish and there is no need to register. If the office is open they accept donations, but it is not required.
Still water winter trophy Trout Fly Fishing private waters tooele
